Choose the right cookware. Use only glass, ceramic, or specially designed microwave-safe plastic dishes. These materials withstand high temperatures and are safe for heating food. Do not operate an empty microwave. If there are no items inside, microwaves will not reflect, which can damage the internal components of the appliance. Be careful with metal objects. Foil, spoons, or dishes with gold patterns can cause sparking and lead to a fire! Do not place hermetically sealed containers in the microwave. Steam inside them can create pressure and cause an explosion. Always leave dishes slightly ajar. Do not overheat liquids. Liquids can suddenly boil over and spill. To prevent this, place a wooden spoon or stick in the cup. Tip: After using the microwave, leave the door slightly ajar. This helps prevent moisture buildup and unpleasant odors inside. Safety first! Proper microwave use will protect both you and your home!
